Auckland Lantern festival
A few people brave the conditions to see the unlit lanterns. Unfortunately the only night I could make it to the festival was the night that it was postponed due to weather. I couldn’t help but feel sad because it was meant to be packed with thousands of people.

Love the low perspective.. no chance of doing such a shot on the sunday night with 8 million people to get in your way so no need to be sad.

I like your perspective as well. Yes there were about 6 of us clambering around the site. I found it just as interesting abandoned however. Shame you didnt see us :-)
